I asked, you answered! You ladies wanted to see more workwear options, so today’s try-on is from J Crew Factory & it is full of work appropriate styles to take you through the Fall. If you love some animal print & appreciate comfort in your workwear options, while still looking chic, then get ready- today’s blog post is for you! If you are more of a video girl – you can hop on over to Instagram for a full try-on session. It is saved under the J.Crew Factory Highlight.

These Jamie Pants are the epitome of max comfort in a dress pant! They have an elastic waistband, pockets, and they have a slimming fit to them. Sizing: I stuck with my normal size 2 & I had a little room, but I liked the way it made them fit like a dressy jogger. If you wanted a more fitted look, I would recommend sizing down 1 size. It is safe to say, if I still worked in the professional world- I would own these in every color! Also, these Edie mules are super comfortable & on sale for around $30! Can’t beat the comfort & affordability! I’m wearing a size 8 & they fit true to size. The tank is a great staple. It perfect for layering in the cooler months ahead, but thin enough to tuck into a skirt or pants comfortably. Sizing: I did grab a size 4, which at J Crew is typically my top size because I feel like they are a little less accommodating in the chest department. Okay, on to the blazer! It is so comfortable & versatile. Just warning you now, you will see a lot of this sweater blazer not only in this post, but all throughout the Fall! I’m thinking about getting the gray color as well.

This top was one of my favorites from the try-on! The fabric is lightweight & perfect for layering or tucking into bottoms, making it a practical option to mix & match. I consider animal print to be a neutral, allowing you to wear it with a variety of colored dress bottoms or take it casual with some denim for endless options.

Okay, first off – how amazing is this skirt?! It’s a pull-on but has a silky feel for max comfort & style! It took every bit of willpower to not bring this baby home with me! I knew it wasn’t practical because the material isn’t the best for all the messy toddler love my clothes get daily, but I was still having to fight my inner voice telling me ALL the ways I could style it! I’m really hoping some of you professional working mamas snag this cutie & rock it for me! I’ll live my dreams for this skirt through you! 😉 This top is the tank version of the leopard long sleeve blouse above. It’s a perfect staple & great for layering as well.

I loved the detail of this tank & the fact it comes in 7 different color options. I am wearing the baltic blue color here. This tank would be great for the office but you could also take of the blazer & it could transition to date night seamlessly. Sizing note: This fits TTS. They didn’t have a size 4 in store so this is a size 2. I would have needed a 4 – the pulling around the chest wouldn’t happen in your normal size.* I also switched the pants up on you – these are the Winnie pant. They are a more traditional work pant with a button closure waistband, a slim fit through the hips & thighs, and tapers at the ankle. I feel like these are a great staple pant, but if we are talking comfort- the Jamie pant wins! However, if you are in need of some work pants with more structure I would recommend these. Sizing: These fit a little snug around the hips so I sized up to a 4.

The only thing I switched out here is the perfect fit tee. It takes the outfit to a casual, polished look. If you are a teacher this would be a great comfortable option for you! The sleeves are a little longer than traditional sleeves which I appreciate. Along with the slightly longer short sleeve, this tee also has a wide neck making it stand out in my closet among my other tee shirts.

Okay, so not too much new going on this pick- I’m just showing you different color options in the Jamie Pant & cut out detail tank. This tank print paired perfectly with the olive Jamie Pant and if you added a white blazer over it, you would have a fun, yet professional outfit for work!

I saved my absolute favorite outfit for last! You now know my love for this skirt, but this sweatshirt has the exact animal print pattern in the skirt on the ruffles around the neck and wristband! It was a match made in heaven IMO! Even though I couldn’t justify the skirt coming home with me, you better believe this sweatshirt did! Mama can rock a sweatshirt with little man in tow! 😉 The sweatshirt definitely takes this skirt to a more casual, yet chic look. I would pair it with a pair of pumps (black or a fun color!) to dress it up or a pair of black booties to keep it casual & chic.
All you professional working mamas – in the comments below tell me what you do for work & which J Crew Factory piece or outfit was your favorite! I would love to get to know you better!
P.S. This week is officially the blog’s ONE month anniversary!! I can’t believe it – time sure flies by when you are having fun! 🙂 I want to thank you SO MUCH for being here – it means more to me than you will ever know! See y’all back here on Friday!
